Prescot Cables v Witton Albion

Starting XI: M. Cooper; M. Wood, I. Kearney, B. Harrison, M. Doughty; J. Harrison, D. MacPherson, R. Foulkes, C. Botham; A. Titchener, A. Kinsey.

Substitutes: B. Pritchard, A. Gardner, and two others

That Two Others sounds like he could be from somewhere exotic?

Substitution

J. Harrison off

F. Ablett on

Bad challenge on Harrison results in injury for him and a red card for the Prescot left-back.

An ambulance has arrived for Harrison. Looks like a bad one.

Afraid it looks like my fears have been realised by the sound of it. That’s at least 12 SENDING’S OFF & 50+ CAUTIONS for the “little angels” already this season.

Really hope Jamie isn’t as bad as it sounds. Well done MACCA, let’s hope for a victory for football come the final whistle.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS.

Cheers Thomas 4 updates. Hope to be back in action myself on Wednesday at W.P.

At the risk of sounding ungracious, Prescot is a dump, their pitch is a disgrace, their full back should be banned for a long time.
I sincerely hope that Jamie Harrison’s injury is not as bad as it seemed.
Tom Spearitt is really slumming it these days playing for them.

As the paramedic wheeled Jamie to the ambulance they passed where I was sat, Jamie seem reasonably bright & was trying to smile. I gave him the thumbs up and he nodded.

Just had a text and the latest news on Jamie is much better than it might have been. No break but stitches inserted and hopefully back in around 10 days.

Hope you’re soon feeling better CHAD.

The two Witton subs that Thomas missed were Fraser Ablett & Joe O’Sullivan.

Just about crossed the finishing line.Full marks to young Fraser,he had a good game showing some nice touches.

In fairness to Cables Madin and the number 7 were constant threats.Tom S in the last couple of minutes found himself tip-toeing through the defence only for a last ditch challenge to deny our former player.

One for the scrap book Ben actually made a mistake at the very end.

Thank the good Lord for Wincham Park.

Must make a comment about the superb save by Matty Cooper in the dying minutes. The shot had goal written all over it.
Pleased to hear Jamie’s injury is not as bad as at first thought.

Well said on both counts

Interesting to see that the league expect that Cables will have the all time worst fair play record this season.

Lets hope the League take some action. A 10 point deduction to start next season could be a good starter, or even demotion to a lower league.
