how about all you albion stayaway fans getting down to wincham park on good friday to see THE LEGEND make his 700th appearance in the red and white that is the albion.let everyone show their appreciation for such a loyal and dedicated player, the like of whom we shall never see again.if you all showed half as much dedication that pritch has shown over the years, who knows where we could have been. so come on let’s do it for pritch, mr witton himself.
Well said!
What an effort but what a guy, lets hope he really gets fit ? and takes it past 750 next season so many memories about the man, hope one day to see him as a manager of the club
I’ve had an e mail off Andy Simpson this morning regarding the magic milestone on Friday, as we all know Brian is an incredibly shy man and is notorious for shunning publicity so I thought that you the fans may wish to post tributes/memorys etc over the last 699 games that Andy may see fit to put in print…

Next season CJ ?
The only man to score a goal, give away a penalty and get sent off, all in the space of two minutes! The only man to get sent off in a cup final for tackling a streaker, but more to the point, the most loyal footballer known to mankind, that’s Pritch.

Is this games or pounds?
(1 strike left…)
I think Pritch would love it if only there were 700 fans there to celebrate with him !
Spot on Eli.
There might be lots of reasons for Wittoners to stay away from games but there can’t be a better reason to make an effort and get to this game.
I will miss watching Sale stuff Worcester to be there.

I’ll give u a lift home if required WHS !
If we win I will float home!! Thanks for the offer Eli, several Wittoners have offered me lifts which goes to show what kind of lads they are, they moan at me, call me names, but when the chips are down they are there, bless you all. COME ON THE ALBS!!!

I was at training one night at WP chatting to super Carl Macauley, he gestured to his left at a shy looking scally and said “this is me mate Brian, he’s had a trial tonight” and the rest, as they say…
I know this subject of Pritch and accolades has been discussed before a few times. Let me just say that beyond doubt he wants no celebrations, no presentation and no fuss. As far as the big fella is concerned we have five cup finals ahead and at the moment he wants nothing at all to detract from this and to potentially be distracting. He is bothered only about being fit for the game and giving 100% to the job in hand. This is not to say that he is ungrateful for the comments and support, far from it, but he does not even want this mentioning as a landmark. There is a job to do first and foremost.
I have said before that it’s a measure of the man that he puts the club before any personal triumph and at an appropriate time whether he likes it or not there will be a celebration of his achievement, however with five big games to go he wants no mention of it. The biggest reward would be helping the club back to the prem.
come on lets not stop at a 700 crowd. everyone who has had the privelige of seeing pritch play in the red and white of THE ALBION should make it their duty to see THE GREAT PRITCH make his 700th appearance on friday. there has been nobody before with such loyalty, and i’m sure there will never be another. so come on you witton fans get down to watch a piece of witton history.
I concur with Rabbit, although it is a milestone at the club, Brian wants no fuss, it’s another game for him, let him get on with the job in hand. He’s always ready for a chat with any Wittoner but he vehemently dislikes official presentations and such like (although he must be used to it after all the player of the year awards he has received !). That is just the type of person he is. Lets be honest he has been at Witton that long he must be a little odd )
No fuss tomorrow, save any presentations for the end of the season. The only difference tomorrow is that Pritch should be skipper for the day.
I think the milestone he would rather hit is to score his 50th goal! He has been on 49 for some time now.
It’s simple.
Everyone who has ever seen and supported Brian down the years get to the game on Friday=good gate.
Everyone sing Brian’s two songs and cheer and shout=good atmosphere and support for all the team.(And that means everyone not just the vocal minority as usual).
Obviously concur with all thats been said about this budding young footballer!!Put in words of his home city " I simply love the bones of the feller". Brian you are a credit to the club, a credit to UK Football, and moreover a credit to World Football!! There is no one like you anywhere. I guess Giggs at United comes close and credit to him but he gets paid megabucks you don’t. You are also a joy to talk to, very witty, and I like to consider you a friend as well as someone who plays for the football club I’ve loved for over 50 years now!
I’ll be around Good Friday urging you on as usual. Keep going mate you are simply just brilliant!!
MONA, I don’t think Giggs has painted the United dressing rooms either.
