CARL CLAMPITT
Carl was a youth player at Liverpool before moving to Preston. Carl also had a stint at Shrewsbury before moving to Cammell Lairds where he played a big part in taking them through the lower leagues and into the UniBond Premier League.
A cruciate ligament injury prevented him signing a pro contract at Liverpool. Carl was set to move to Scottish team Hearts before injury once again prevented a professional move. Carl is a competitive footballer with a fantastic passing ability, which are two of his key attributes which make Carl an impressive midfielder.
They were very see him go at Colwyn Bay, sounds like a belting signing if he can stay injury free.
Dan is not 21 possibly 24 -25 however thats a good age for a centrehalf, dont remember the other guys from Llairds ( no one shone out when we played them ) maguire will be a miss & wonder what happened to wellstead ? for me looks like we will have a workmanlike side but not title chasers oh well , go on pritch be delighted if you prove me wrong. 
Dan is 21, and is 22 in November.
We may not see him in the first couple of friendlies, as he is going on holiday to see his twin brother, who now lives in New Zealand
Thanks TT I based my age on the fact I knew them when they played for middlewich juniors, and thought they played a year below my son ? which would make them 24 ? happy to be corrected, even better that he seems to have done very well at his tender age.
