Having made a last minute decision to go, have to say I wasn’t overly impressed with either side. Whilst they may be/were a league above us, they reminded me of the Emley side which came to WP earlier in the season. (although they did beat us!)<br><br>I think i that is the standard of side from the Premier we will playing next year we shouldn’t be too scared, it will be the top half of Uni 1 we need to look out for! (although this was only 1 game)<br><br>Anyway on the playing side Eaton played a full game and failed to impress whilst a certain Matt Boswell in nets seemed to command his area pretty well.
Just to be awkward, made a last minute decision not to go to Radcliffe…good to see that we have a couple of local rivals next season, although I can’t help but feel some sympathy for both Radcliffe and Ashton, both of whom worked very hard to get promotion from the old first division…
