I had no issues with Ryan when he briefly played for the Albs, he looked assured an not without talent. He must have fallen out of favour…or seen the green light back over t’ cut!
He did well when with us first time when he came back he had fitness and attitude issues I believe so went back to sunday league obviously trying again, he will be 28 ish now so not long to get it right.

It was great to speak with Joe Connor (Witton Albion’s right winger at Wembley), after the game, with some great stories to recollect.
A bit sick that I missed seeing his brother and Albion captain Jim Connor, who was also at the game.

Any one have the team lineup ? did broadhead play for them, read on the Radcliffe website that they have signed a number of players on contracts (inc ali brown, mark jones ) for next season already must be splashing the cash ? a good result keeps our improved form going if only we had not lost titch we would have finished very strongly imo
The full match report is on the Official site. Callum Botham was given MOM by their sponsors. The only thing I would add is that we seemed to take the game easily in our stride, and should have won more comfortably. Their team looked very ordinary, except for Mark Jones, and the very skilfull and fast left winger wearing No 10 (not sure of his name).
I believe Ryan signed for Benny last Wednesday, but did not appear on Saturdays team sheet.
