Radcliffe FC vs Witton Albion U21's Development Squad.

Witton’s U21’s Development Squad are in action on Friday night when they travel to struggling Radcliffe FC in a North West U21 Development League Premier Division fixture, the second Witton Albion side in the space of a few days following the Academy team visit in midweek but will be hoping for a better result than their younger counterparts. The home side have not started the season in the best of form and are still searching for their first league win of the campaign and having lost their last six games in all competitions. Witton will certainly be looking to put on a performance and get the right result following their horrendous outing last time out at high-flying Irlam FC. Despite their lowly position in the table, the home side will make things difficult for Witton as they also try and put a run together. Albion will be looking to pick up that second win of the season and put a bit more breathing space between themselves and the teams below them. Kick off at Vestacare Stadium is 7.30pm.

North West U21’s Development League Premier Division:

Radcliffe FC 4 Witton Albion U21’s Development Squad 1.

Witton’s U21’s Development Squad slumped to another defeat at Radcliffe FC on Friday night in their North West U21’s Development League Premier Division game at Vestacare Stadium.

Albion got the perfect start against the struggling Radcliffe side and went in front after only three minutes, a lead they were able to take into the half time interval.

The game changed after the break as Witton fell apart and conceded four times, as Radcliffe claimed their first league win of the season and with some comfort, as Albion’s second half performance was a polar opposite of what had gone before it.

Joseph Daulby and a hat trick from Cameron Lewarne, who had also netted in the Academy fixture between the two clubs a couple of days earlier secured the points for the home side.
