re going down

just found out who ‘Alty’ really is a certain Mr B Ellend

Alty r goin down 4 sure anyway, maybe midtable now but they will slip and slip cos they are Alty, pile of sh*t that they are. Hope we meet them rent boys in the cheshire cup! But i doubt they can even beat staylebridge.

hes got to be a v1cs fan with spelin like that.

Many apologies about so-called Alty supporter, if he is a Alty supporter that is, and not someone that stirs up trouble. If he is then he has a short memory. We have been lucky to achieve our position in the Conference. Though I believe we have made our own luck by living in the real world. If the cards had been dealt differently we would have been in a similar position as Witton. We squeezed into Conference North by beating Runcorn on the last day of the season. We got lucky in the play-offs to get promoted to the conference. Plus we have had 3 reprieves in a row. I think we have got a good chance of finishing outside the bottom four because have got a better squad than we have had in a long time and if we manage to finish mid-table, it would be an excellent achievement for us a part-time club against clubs with far bigger budgets than ours. Good luck to Witton for rest of the season. I hope we meet in the Cheshire Senior Cup Final and hope you stay up and join us in the Conference as soon as possible so we can both look down on the Vics. Also good luck to the former Alty players Gary Scott, Rod Thornley and Keiran who gave their all for Alty. I hope to get to see Witton a few more times this season. I enjoy my visits to Wincham Park.

And Cestrian we share a similar view regarding those that play in the dark across the canal.

I actually think Alty will be safe this season, there are worse teams in the Conf this year and as we know only two out of four end up going down anyway.

Scotty is doing a good job in a pressured defence, what do you consider his best position to be? Also we have not seen much of Keiran yet due to injury, do you think he can keep a place in the side? Be interested to hear your views.

Good luck to you, and any chance we can keep Val Owen for a few more weeks.

Witton will never play us in the Cheshire Senior Cup because they can’t win, good move by your ex boss i am sure he will be waving at u lot when they exchange divisions.

We are staying up, we are staying up because we have colin little.

Scottys best position is left back. I couldn’t believe he was playing at centre back against Cammell Laird. I think Scotty is due a goal he has not scored for over 3 years, he scored a cracking 25 yarder against Hucknall. Keiran looked a promising player when he join Alty with his twin brother Kelvin. At the time I thought Graham Heathcote didn’t really give him a chance because he rarely started games, but he was probably not good enough at Conference. He does have plenty of pace.

No, no Baggie. I’ve just been informed by my old mate Richard Head that it’s his brother Knob.

We had Colin Little for 5 seasons we still finished in the bottom four for the last 2 seasons.

are knob and ellend witton’s two new signings.

Alty may have been down there but everything is changing now, with our new signings we are playing better football if we had ryan shotton we would be in the play offs but I wouldn’t want to talk to much about the conference as u witton fans are too far away from that standard.

Have you seen us this season apart from than on Sultana.

Thanks for your comments Cestrian, I think Scott played centre half when Pritch was out because we had no experienced cover. In fairness he did the best of a bad job, at least you always know he will give 100%.

I would agree with you that he looks better at left back, he has played right back for us in recent weeks. He is a good character to have at the club and hopefully will help to steady the ship.

It will be interesting to see how Keiran does when he is fit, like you we have not really seen enough of him to judge yet.

Anyway good luck, if ‘Alty FC’ is to be believed you will be playing league football next year! If only life was so easy!!!

You should no problems about Scotty, Rod, Keiran and Val giving their all. I hope they help you secure your Unibond Premier status. As for Alty playing League football next season. I think we are at least 5 years away from achieving the goal of playing league football at Moss Lane.
