Development Squad player Reece Hales is to join Scottish club Greenock Morton on a week’s trial. Witton Albion would like to wish him the best of luck.

Presumably Witton Albion Football Club get to offer a weeks trial before a random, run of the mill scottish club swoops in for a player allegedly representing us? I heard similar stories last season. Please no more of this nonsense before the season even starts, lets put our resources where it matters. We have lost enough good wittoners over the last few seasons sick of the way this club is being run lets not lose any more. If this is the boards way forward why not keep it behind closed doors, don’t disgrace its fans that put good money in to the club week in week out as well.
To update everyone on Reece Hales, he completed the week’s trial up in Scotland with Greenock Morton but unfortunately they decided not to offer him a contract. However, other clubs are showing an interest and there is still a chance for him to progress in the future.
More importantly are Witton Albion showing any interest in one of our development squad players?
