Effectively to escape we need Basford to lose last 3 games and for us win 2 out of three. If they pick up a point, then we need to pick up 7 points if they win one game we need to win all 3 games due to our inferior goal difference?

There is a scenario where it could depend on the outcome of the final game between the two, but that would need us to win our next two games and Basford to lose theirs.
That would put us a point ahead of them going into the last game and then the PPG (Points Per Game) could be a factor for the team finishing third from bottom but that’s complicated as it involves other leagues.
