I have received this e-mail from Clodagh Buckley, Commercial Director. Please bear in mind that she is a professional person giving up her time to help develop OUR Football Club, and without being disrespectful doesn’t have the local knowledge that some of us have. She is very enthusiastic and needs YOUR support.
Other club news
We are looking to hold a summer party at the social club mid/end July. More details will follow once everything is confirmed. If you know of any inexpensive local DJs or local bands or can offer your help in any way please get in touch as we’re trying to raise as much money as possible for the floodlights fund.
Finally we are also investigating the possibility of holding a kids summer camp at the club during August. The camp will not only earn vital funds for the club but hopefully will also start to build a new young fan base for the coming seasons. I really need volunteers who can help out by providing kids games, books or sports equipment of any kind along with any of their spare time to help out during the camp itself. I’m also hoping to get the message out through local schools and businesses and hopefully some local advertising so if anyone can help on that front, I would be delighted to hear from you.
