Looks like Connors will be getting 45 aswell, so all the more reason to come and watch two players who will provide great competition for places in the first team.
Glad that both these players are playing tonight, having them back will provide great compeition for the 3 in there at the minute: Cross, Fallon and Sheehan.
Witton Reserves beat Kendal Town Reserves 3-2 last night in what was a very promising performance and an enjoyable game. Steve Connors & Joe Shaw both featured in the first half, there were also starts for Tom Wakefield, Martin Ormesher and Jamie Harrison, who put in a Man of the Match performance.
Tom Wakefield and Martin Ormesher were amongst the Albion’s scorers, Ormesher possibly scoring twice but I’m sure someone will correct that information if it turns out to be wrong.
I like the fact Jamie Harrison is back with us, a very good squad member and a nice bloke
I agree. He was pushing for a regular first team berth before he was injured at Prescot (2 years ago?). Hopefully he can challenge again. His attitude his excellent as well.
