I would ask all involved with witton albion, as i am sure you all do to take a minute on Sunday to pay your respects to the people who served and were lost or injured in service of this country, many witton followers and players, I imagine, since 1914 to the present day. On Tuesday I am sure that we will all join together in respecting the silence afforded our fallen comrades before our game against Congleton, LEST WE FORGET.

Unlike sports players termed “heroes”, these lads were REAL heroes and deserve all the respect we can give them. “At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.”
