Witton’s Development Squad almost grabbed a point from the Lancashire League South leaders RIASA South, following an excellent second half performance in Leeds this evening. Trailing 3-0 at the break, Albion got back into the game through a penalty and then reduced the arrears with a well-worked team goal midway through the half. They kept probing in the latter stages but couldn’t quite break through as they went in search of the equaliser.
