This seasons rule changes appear to be technical and minor such as players tape needs to be the same colour as their socks. The only major rule change on the pitch concerns drop balls. No longer can you score direct from a drop ball if you do it’s a goal kick and if the defending team scores an own goal direct from a drop ball it’s a corner kick! Not sure why this has been introduced and can only think its to stop those situations when a goal has been scored by giving the ball back at a drop ball.
This is how quiet this forum has gone I am reduced to this!
