Play Off chasing Runcorn Linnets have sacked manager Dave Wild.
Former Albion striker Jamie Rainford & Billy Paynter have been placed in temporary charge.
Dismissed for “Gross Misconduct” according to their club statement.
Apparently they held a Board meeting where the decision was taken to dispense with his services.
Hopefully helps our play off push! I’ve got nothing against our friends from Murdishaw, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them implode over the next few weeks…
They’ve only won four out of fourteen games since Christmas.
