Back in the swing of it this Saturday at the mill bank stadium! Thoughts?
Quite enjoy a visit to the Linnets. Its a nice ground and a good set up. They deserve success but havn’t really achieved over the last few years. Maybe its their time this season? Maybe we will see a few new faces for the Albs.(not the pop group). SBL
It’s nice to get in to work on Monday and have some footy to look forward to at the end of the week!
Cannot make the match on Saturday as I am visiting my son in Much Wenlock. I will be at Lostock on Wednesday night though and hopefully I can pick up two junior membership forms then. Not put my bet on yet but will probably do it today, see you on Wednesday if you want me to place your bet for you though there is nothing to stop you placing the bet yourselves.

Looking forward to visiting the Linnets Saturday. They’ve always been great with us and we with them ever since we shared the ground together. To Northwich Vics trust and all those genuine Vics fans the Linnets are an ideal role model on how to conduct yourselves in setting up a new club and driving this forward and earning respect from those who know about football. I think they would be a great blueprint for forward thinking on the Vics front but obviously some excess baggage needs to be discarded before this could happen.
In the meantime looking forward to see us playing again and seeing Joe Shaw and any other new guys we’ve got on board. Don’t think our squad needs that much tinkering although a new striker for Titch would be icing on the cake. I still feel our squad is more than capable of doing well in the new league as Pritch pointed out 70 goals without Titch was pretty good anyway and Joe seems to get his fair share from midfield as well!!
Onward and Upward hope its sunny on Saturday and if any walkers need a lift back after the game just give me a nudge. Tony Waterman knows who I am!!
Tried PP betting shop but he could not find the odds on the Northern Premier League but he says he would give us the best on offer when they come out. Good luck to the walkers and to the team on Saturday.
