Witton make the short trip to Runcorn Town on Tuesday night, in what is their only pre season friendly away from the U Lock It Stadium.
The hosts are already four games into their pre season preparations which has seen them win once, lose once and draw the other two.
Their last outing at the weekend saw them draw 2-2 at home to FC St Helens whilst Albion were edging a close game at home to Litherland Remyca.
Manager Ben Harrison will have been pleased that the team got more minutes on the pitch and in testing conditions, but the important aspect was to experiment with different formations and players.
The early form of striker Tom Hoyle is encouraging and two goals in the opening two pre season games, will give the management team pause for thought.
A number of the squad missed the game at the weekend due to a variety of reasons, and they will surely come into the thinking of the management team ahead of the new season.
Runcorn Town are nearing the end of their pre season preparations as they begin their league campaign towards the end of the month.
Witton will be looking to continue the progress they’ve already made but Runcorn Town will give them something to think about.

Directions: To avoid the Mersey Gateway Bridge: Exit M56 at junction 12. As you go up the hill from the roundabout on the expressway towards Runcorn, stay in the RIGHT HAND LANE. Come off at the fourth exit signposted Runcorn Station. Turn left at the top of the slip road, left at the T-junction into Sandy Lane, and first left into Pavilions.
Parking: The Car Park has spaces for around 100 vehicles.
Admission is by way of Card & Cash payments at the turnstiles.
