Witton make the journey down the M6 on Saturday when they travel to Rushall Olympic in their penultimate away fixture in the Evo-Stik Premier Division this season. The Pics find themselves safely in mid-table after a decent run of form which has seen them win six of their previous nine games so will be looking to continue their good form as the season draws to a close. Witton will look to finish the season on a high as the play offs are now seemingly out of reach but, anything can happen in football. They go to Rushall on the back of a very hard-earned point at Marine in midweek in what became difficult circumstances but their determination not to give in came through once again in the end. With four league fixtures to play, Witton’s aim will obviously be to pick up as many points as they can and to finish in the highest possible position but whatever happens from here, they’ve given it everything. To finish in the top ten has been a tremendous effort from everyone involved and something of which they can be immensely proud but there’s still a job to be done and one thing’s for sure, this team won’t be lacking in effort and determination.
