Salford City manager Rhodri Giggs and assistant manager Phil Melville announced their resignation on Saturday after the three-one home win over Ossett Albion.
The club will be inviting applications for the manager’s role, and club captain Darren Hockenhull will take charge of team affairs for the final two games of the season.
The club would like to thank Rhodri and Phil for their hard work over the past eighteen months, and wish them both the very best of luck for the future
