Witton’s U21 Development Squad are in action on Sunday morning when they face probably their toughest test so far with a trip to league leaders Salford City, who are unbeaten going into the weekend programme. Witton still look for their first win of the season but can take some comfort from recent weeks which have seen an improvement in performances, if not a change of fortune. The team can certainly go into the game with a positive attitude and will hopefully give a good account of themselves. They will be looking to put on a performance and who knows what can happen on the day with that little bit of luck, something every team needs from time to time. The game is being played at Partington Sports Village with an 11am kick off.
