Salford City vs Witton Albion

Yes automatic promotion is going to be tough but I bet Fylde didn’t expect to slip up last night. In a couple of weeks things can change very quickly.

And I bet everyone would have taken the play offs at the start of the season

We are going for promotion and when you play a mid table side you have to take the game to them. Your right it did make it compact and difficult to get behind them. They didn’t really push too many men forward and got what they played for. We are an attacking team and has earnt us rave reviews on here. I like us being positive didn’t quite work last night. But we’re in a playoff spot which was the target at the start of the season and proven we can beat anyone on our day. I’m sure we will be back to winning ways on sat.

UTA

And i still would! By no means secured as of yet.

But last night’s point apparently means we don’t need to worry about getting relegated!!

Despite being critical of aspects of last night’s performance, i just want to congratulate Pritch and the rest of the lads on a good season up to this point. Hopefully the best is yet to come.

We can’t take anything for granted we have to maintain focus and keep up the good work to ensure a play off place. On our day we can beat anyone. Look at the Barrow game that we could have won with a bit more luck as an example, and the Alty game we did win!! I think the dissapointing thing about the draw at Salford was not this result but the daft points we’ve given away at home. We need to ensure we win all our home games from now on, starting Saturday which is a tough one. The away games don’t worry me as much as we seem to play ok away from home perhaps because the home teams don’t expect us to attack them with the gusto that we do being the away team.
If you’d told me we’d be in a play off position at the start of the season I’d have well taken it.
All due credit to the PRITCHMOSEDEEL and Murph partnership for getting us where we are!!
Lets just keep the momentum going and get up into the premier.
I have a feeling that if we do the local derby will be back with us because I’d be very surprised if the Millionaire Vics will be allowed in the Conference North anyway!! Why, well no ground, not paying bills and just getting up most clubs noses. Also read in the NLP paper that the conference it tightening up control on clubs finances for those already in and those wanting to get in!!
ONWARD and UPWARD with the Albion!!
