Witton Albion Reserves are away to Sandbach Curshaws on Saturday in a Crewe District Football League fixture. Witton have made a reasonable start to their first season in the league, having won one and lost one from their opening two games. They will be looking to improve on last weekend’s disappointment at neighbours Winnington 94 but will not underestimate their opponents, who currently sit in mid-table. ground approx ¾ mile on the right. The Community Football Centre is opposite Sandbach Cricket Club.

Witton Reserves made it two wins from three as they overcame Sandbach Curshaws FC in an eight - goal thriller at Sandbach Community Football Centre on Saturday afternoon. Witton came back from 2-1 down at the break and ran in four second half goals although Sandbach did add a third goal to their first half strikes. Witton Goalscorers were: Ashley Wells, Ben Ferguson, Ataya Anasse, Joe Booth & Luke Whitney. Man of the Match: Mazn Amhamed.
