Table-topping Witton Albion Women take their unbeaten run to Sandbach United Ladies on Sunday afternoon in a Cheshire Women’s and Youth Football League Championship West fixture.
The game is a quick turnaround for the teams as they met a week ago at the U Lock It Stadium with Witton winning comfortably 3-0 with a brace from leading scorer Jennifer Thompson and another from Kathryn Hulme.
They were aided by a complete team performance in which stand in goalkeeper Becca Paton deputised for Tracy Bolton who was unavailable and gave a player of the match performance.
Witton will be looking to continue their impressive form but will face a tough game against a strong team and will need to be at their best if they are to complete the double over their opponents.
Kick off at Sandbach Community Football Centre is 2pm.
