The Witton fans will be at the Lostock end (so try & park at that end)
The AFC Telford fans will be at the Wincham end.
The Entrance fees are - Adult #8; Concessions #5; 17 & under #3. NOT All-ticket (hardly practical with the time constraints).
The Social Club is open pre-match until 2.50pm.
The pre-booked wedding party has sole use of the Social Club from 3pm onwards. Therefore, it will NOT be open to football people at half-time or full-time. [The alternative would have been to play it at NVFC (no way)] Please respect the wedding congregation.
In order to (hopefully) celebrate we have arranged that the team will go to The Anderton pub in Northwich after the game. The pub has been informed of this possibility and supporters are welcome there to party!
For any AFC Telford United fans reading this - the Wincham end is nearest to the main road. Please use the turnstiles at this end. The Tea Hut at your end will be open but please be patient - the staff are volunteers.
Apologies about the social club arrangements - this wedding has been booked quite some time ago and, despite an eleventh hour attempt to switch the wedding to NVFC I’m afraid that NVFC’s welcome wasn’t very welcoming.
As for all ticket, don’t be daft, how on earth could this have been managed within 3 days by a part-time unpaid staff, simply impossible!
Good chance here for some good national PR in the Sunday papers, get the bride on to the pitch at half-time for a few photos in front of her 3,000 surprise wedding guests!!! As long as the wedding party have the right attitude we too should respect their use of the facilities and their big day (remember they were putting money into the club by hiring the facility). I hope the club sends someone out to buy a gift as a gesture on our part.
I can see the headlines now "The Perfect Match" ;D
any extra car parking available , like at vics, also are you reserving any parking for the wedding party or will we see the bride walking down new warrington rd at 2.30
I think the bride on the pitch idea is a fantastic one would really get the club in the headlines on Sunday I can imagine that most of the tabloids would jump at a little ‘happy tale’ like that
great decisions made by the board yet again! lets hope the day is a great one! Not only for the football fans but also for the wedding party :)! Come on Witton!
Word from the bucks-chat forum is that they have 10 coaches heading our way. 1000 going by car and a further 250 by train.
This is going to be some occassion!
OK we might not outnumber them people wise but lets have a go at outshouting them. The Red Army thing and some of the stuff the other night was great. The important thing is to keep it going even by a miracle we go a goal down and above all keep it clean!!
RED ARMY!! RED ARMY!!
Who Needs Mourinho!! true anyway judging by Chelsea last few games!!
