However unlikely it may be that Fleetwood don’t win on Saturday, I wanted to wish all those that will be there on Saturday all the best for the game against Worksop. We have to win to stand any chance, so lets make sure we do that. I will be keeping my fingers crossed down here in Birmingham…Keep the faith, there’s many a slip…
we certainly need the win on saturday, and hope that fleetwood loose or draw,if they draw and we win, we will be champions on goal differance, fleetwood lose then we will be one point better than fleetwood, and be champions.Well worse that could happen is that we will be in the playoffs, and hopefully go up that way.
Pleased to see elsewhere you’re coming along tomorrow with family but your slightly wrong with the scenario above old pal.
As we’re only a point behind, with a far better goal difference, then should Fleetwood lose, even a draw tomorrow will see us Champions.
Anyway, three points and no matter what goes on up in the Fylde Coast the achievement of 92 points falls just one point short of when we won the league in 1991, also from 40 matches remember.
We just need to concentrate on our game tomorrow first of all, worksop wont just roll over and let us win so its vital the players give it their all(which im sure they will)if we win and finish 2nd then so be it, but it would be awful if fleetwood do slip up and we fail to win tomorrow:angry: c’mon boys one last push but wotever happens ive enjoyed following witton again and shall be back next season whatever league we happen to be in;)
i will be going to the match believing that we will win the and when we do will there be a presentation at the end of the match
Staying in Birmingham instead of coming to see the mighty Albion win the league (well we can all dream). Come on Chris Lowe get the car out and come on over, I will buy you a brew at half-time from the Albion Tea Hut. Its much improved since the Central Ground brew and I am sure there will be a big pie for you waiting as well.
Thanks for that chad realised as soon as read your reply that had got my maths wrong.See you saturday
Good luck to the lads Saturday , you never know , If Witton go ahead early on, and news filters through to Fleetwood the pressure will start to build on them. Its been another good season, and if it is the play offs , so be it , we’ve had enough rehearsals . piece of cake . Cmon Witton !!!
