Saturday's Programme

Saturday’s programme contains a detailed message from Chairman Mark Harris who addresses a lot of what has gone on at the club over the past week or so, including the management change, the player situation, and of course the good news about our new stadium sponsor. The programme is the only place to read this so please try to pick up a copy at Saturday’s game.

We’ve also got Carl’s first manager’s notes, the usual well written football columns and details of upcoming events in the social club, including a piece on the 90s night.

For those sponsoring a player, there have been a lot of changes recently, and im juggling things around as best I can. If anyone has been assigned a new player by me, and you’re unhappy with it, give me a shout here, on Facebook, at the game, or email me and ill change it. Obviously there may be more player changes over the next few weeks with a new manager so ill do whatever I can to get you the player you want, if its not already taken.

Sounds like it will be a good (and interesting!) read, looking forward to picking up my copy. Good stuff Mookie. UTA

You can pick me up too if you want, quarter to 2.

Looking forward to Noel’s new ale guinness

More importantly there is a new quiz page to test your footballing nous

It’s been raised a couple of times before, but I wonder if there’s a possibility of making the programme available on-line on a subscription basis?

4 pronged attack here:

  1. Fans like me who are unable to attend every game
  2. Visiting fans, who also cannot attend the game
  3. Programme collectors
  4. and hopefully, guaranteed sales during busy periods when programmes sell out

Not sure how difficult or expensive this would be, but in principle a very good idea.

We did try this last season, for about 4 games, and didn’t sell a single copy sadly. But happy to try again!

We’ve since updated the shop software so im not sure it has the functionality to sell these sorts of pdfs, but ill have a look tonight.

An easier way may be to donate a pound for each one you buy, using the club shop paypal account. I can then email you the pdf, as I’d get advised when a payment is made and who made it.

The only thing I would say is that the pdf proofs I get are low res. All pictures are in low res, although the rest of the programme (essentially all the writing) is high res.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, I assumed you were talking about pdf files, but re-reading it seems like you mean hard copies?
