Just been speaking to our partners at Advantage Insurance and the take up on the offer that we worked so hard to get for the club has been poor.
Just to reiterate it costs you nothing to get a quote. I am yet to meet anyone who has had a car insurance quote who has found a better price on a comparison site. If you get a quote with no commitment the club will give you a voucher for a pie and a pint. That’s a free pie and a pint for making one phone call or sending an email.

For every policy that is taken out the club will receive a donation from Advantage. This raises money for the club and only costs you as a supporter what you would be paying for car/home insurance (or probably less!!!)
With all this talk of setting up standing orders this is an easy way of raising money for the Albs and probably saving yourself money as well. All for the sake of getting a quote. And it’s open to family and friends as well. And opposition supporters, in fact opposition supporters have raised more money for the Albs through this scheme than own fans. That can’t be right can it??

Totally 100% a fan of it but someone was on here the other day complaining that all the club ever does is ask for your money.
The point I’m making is that this is a scheme that can save you money (which if you wanted you can put into a standing order) and earn the club money as well. It a win win and I am at a loss as to why nobody is keen to get themselves involved!
However in hindsight perhaps I should have rephrased that sentence. No offence was meant by it and like I say I am behind anything that helps the club.
Fair enough I can see your point of view, it must be frustrating and disheartening (if that’s a word 
) to put the time and effort into setting up this scheme and it not being supported. Personally I didnt really understand the concept of this offer when it was at the home game, but having read your post I will definately have a go at it

I have just completed the online form for a home insurance quote, so will let you know, if you want to use the pie and pint offer for a prize for the half time draw or with the golden goal etc that’s fine by me, I don’t wanna take anything from the club for nothing.
I’m 99.9% sure that the club aren’t footing the bill for that either…!!!
