Season 2012/13

What an amazing achievement by the coaching staff and players. With the season ended, to have such a massive game still to look forward to on Tuesday is testament to their hard work. I absolutely cannot wait for that one.

Don’t think we’ve got anything to fear from FC. We should have beaten them 2-1 at home in August with that blatant handball denying us a late winner, we won the boxing day game 1-0 (:p), we did them in the cup match that never was and then we did them again the other week at their place. Well, Bury’s place, but whatever.

People say they are due a win but they have to earn it, and the pressure is all on them. Win or lose, I know we’ll all get behind them and the lads will give it everything. This all sounds a bit cheesy but who cares? Look at the table!!!

Massive thanks to Pritch and his team for giving us a great season and if he tops it off with another promotion, great. If he doesn’t he’s already exceeded everyone’s expectations, and I hope everyone at the club is proud of what they’ve achieved this season, and comes back next season to do the same again.

I know as fans we give ourselves a bit of stick for being quiet at home but we make up for it away, so one last time (or hopefully, two) let’s get behind the lads and outsing FC for 90 minutes. UTA!!!

Very proud indeed.

Thanks guys.

Don’t think i can add any more to that! Brilliant season with some brilliant performances and results, especially away from home.
Bursting with pride tonight and always.

Fantastic achievement for everybody associated with the club. I’ve just watched the goals DVD from last season and two things stand out: firstly, mostly the same players have all upped their game and improved, and secondly, the crowds have increased appreciably. Today I thought the levels of fitness after their sending off meant that we were cruising and should have had a few more in the last half hour. Rushall looked poor and their few fans were as miserable as their accent makes them sound.

Can’t wait for Tuesday against a real fans club, and hopefully the biggest crowd I will have ever seen in 17 years following the Albs. Win or lose, it’s been a great season, but we can do it!!

I’ve been really proud to be a wittoner this year, what a fantastic season! Seen loads of old friends that I wouldn’t usually do on a saturday afternoon and I’ve made some new ones along the way too  Had some awesome away days aswell!

The team has been amazing all year and for me seeing a local lad in young Benny H going from a promising youngster to a top draw player has been particularly pleasing. My expectations have been massively exceeded this season so absolutely no qualms from me and i’m sure many others if we don’t do the playoffs, if the managment and players stay next year we have a really solid foundation in place and plenty of talent from which we can build in years to come. I have to say though, and I don’t know why, but I have a really funny feeling the play offs could go our way B) UTA

Can only thank the players the management the board the helpers and all that is involved in making our club watchable what a whirlwind of a couple of years we are having i dont wana get off this ride its been awsome.
And still can here these 3 words Neil said to us all 5 or so seasons ago and they were KEEP THE FAITH and can only echo them now we can do this 2 cup finals and we could be playing BSN. COYR UTA

What an achievement so proud to be a wittoner!! Can’t wait for Tuesday FC won’t know what’s happened when we rock up.

UTA

Delighted for everyone associated with the club. Guess the gate for £1? I say 4,500!!! WHS

An absolutely fantastic season for the second year running.

This Chairman, Manager, Caoching Staff and squad have given us our pride back over the last couple of seasons.

Let’s make them proud to represent Witton Albion by creating a wall of noise on Tuesday night.

As for the gate, I’ll go for 3,050.

I’d like to add my thanks to everyone for another brilliant season.
Having returned to my native Yorkshire last year I’ve not seen as many games as I have in the past but I’ve enjoyed the ones I saw and particularly because there’s so many friendly Wittoners, especially amongst the away supporters.
I’d like to also thank the Tweeters for match coverage and especially Andrew Simpson of the Guardian, cheers Simmo!
He must have had an enjoyable season at last
See you all tomorrow for our penultimate game of the season
