Singing??

Where has it gone ??? One of the best parts of Witton was the constant singing but only the odd song tonight and can’t remember any against eastwood!! any way we can sort this out…

More away fans would help.
At home we react to action on and off the pitch.
Matlock only brought the few who weren’t on the sheep rota (their No.5 never stopped bleating).
When we’re away we are on their patch so we act differently. We even outnumbered Ossett fans so we had banter with some of their players.

On Saturday their keeper even shook hands with us at the end and thanked us for coming!!!

I agree alexfan - twas a bit quiet again.

In light of Stu’s comments lets have a good gathering in town - noon anyone for lunch? We need to make sure we get through on Saturday and we play our part.

Is that you sayin your on th beers on Saturday Neil? Lunch sounds a good idea though. Penny Black?

We have always been fairly quiet at home, it was only towards the end of last year when we went on that awesome run and were pushin for the title that the noise levels grew. Away from home we will always make plenty of noise, especially when we’re winning!!

That’s the other issue, when games are tense - like they are at the moment until we get a couple of goals up - then the atmosphere will reflect this. When we get closer to xmas, and the beers start flowing, then i am sure the noise will return.

A lemonade would be lovely robbo!

Your central defensive partner tells me Liverpool are playing so Anderton is more likely - 12 in there for lunch or 12.30 for the game?

12.30

I may have Little Robbo with me though so the Anderton would be ruled out for me in that case.

Page 17 of the ‘Stuart Jones’ parenting manual - although better than the solution on Page 54 which is chain him to a lamppost outside the club with a bag of salt and vinegar crisps!

;D

It’s also bordering on child cruelty…
