^^^^^ well said and good on you! We should not be critical of players who are willing to pull on the Help For Heroes shirt for the Albs!!
So if a player is terrible, doesn’t apply themselves in the manner expected, and quite frankly isn’t fit to wear our shirt, then they should be be beyond reproach just because they are happy to pull on a shirt that has H4H on the front? (Which of course they are doing entirely for the love of the charity and are not receiving any match fee at all…).
Isn’t that little white patch in Ed Milliband’s hair funny?
I don’t ever recall booing, have not criticized the manager or the board, and have/will continue to support the team, vocally, enthusiastically, financially and beyond.
I’m sure the manager and chairman keeping the players in the dressing room after the game was not to give them a hug and a cuddle and to focus on motivation.
The manager’s decisions to date have been very good, but it makes me wonder why he chose to allow Hancock, Smith and Foy leave. Surely all he needed to do was to give them a bit more motivation and focus on the positives. No chance that he didn’t think they were not good enough I suppose!
Read all the national newspapers for their reports of Gareth Barry’s performance during the week, they are very motivational! The truth is that Barry’s best response is to go and prove the doubters wrong and that is exactly what our lads need to do. The manager can decide whether he needs to give them a cuddle or whether he feels he needs another player.
If you wait for the day when players are not criticized on forums then it will be a long time, it’s probably better to not bother reading them.
I will save most of my comments for the programme, but I have to say I do not believe any of our players did not try against Skem, they may have had a bad day at the office but I very much doubt they wewre not trying. When have any of you played a game, any game and not tried? I certainly haven’t, I’ve been rubbish many times, but never on purpose!!

WHS, were you at the game on Saturday? If so you will have seen a ball played down the line in the second half that one of our players just allowed to run out rather than chasing down. It was right infront of where i was stood, and i can tell you had he made any effort at all then he would have got to the ball and we would have been in a good attacking position. That was a ‘i can’t be bothered’ attitude, probably because we were 3 down at the time. If a player is poor i will support him, if he chooses not to make the effort then i wont. It’s that simple.
If that really was the case I have to agree it is unacceptable, but did it happen all afternoon or was it an isolated incident? I certainly hope it was, I would hate to think that several players wearing Red and White collectively failed to give it 100%. But as I was not at the game I have to believe what you say is correct.
WHS.
A forum is a great place to vent our frustrations and our praise, and I take on all constructive critisism of the team I wasnt at the game but what I have seen so far this season has far exceeded what I expected, I think we have got the makings of a real team that will challenge for things. Maybe not this season because of cuckoos droped in the north league, but we are still up there, with plenty of time to go, I for one am very happy, much happier with what we have got this season than what we had this time last season.
Other clubs have a far better pay scale than us, but I bet they all worry about playing us because of the support and the team spirit we all have, not just the players, all of us.
Keep the faith.
Old stu
I will repeat what I said before
Are you entitled to voice your negative thoughts on players/management/board - Yes without doubt
Does it help the players/management/board to see and hear these views in a public domain - NO
I will never ever want to stop free speach but as a lifelong supporter I believe that critism on a board such as this is a little kick in the ribs to all those working so hard, do you honestly believe that the manager would consistant pick a player he thought (in Robbos Words) is terrible, doesn’t apply themselves in the manner expected, and quite frankly isn’t fit to wear our shirt. If thats the case then tell him, we have a group of people running the whole place who are always willing to listen and talk.
So if you happy to have little digs and air your frustrations on here then go ahead thats your right, just remember its not helping anyone but yourself.
On alighter note I once saw gazza refuse a drink, obviously a bad day for him but he didnt get crucified for it.
Come on big game tomoz lets beat them with a witton smile on our face all of us.
