So next season
It’s not going to be easy whatsoever but would we want that?
It’s a new chapter in our unbroken history and I can’t wait for it!!

Me too mate, hate the summers with no footy :frowning:

Sunny weekend in August/September, yes. Mid Jan and snowing, no! ;)
I think Scarborough are still playing in Bridlington…which is a bit grim tbh!

Warrington are probably the team to watch out for this season, they are already recruiting some high-profile players.

Them, Vics, Scarborough, Glossop… Although we should be there or there abouts, its certainly not going to be easy.

Shouldn’t forget spennymoor and Bamber Bridge either. It’s a lot more competitive than when we won the playoffs. Spennymoor and Scarborough both get more fans than us and then the likes of Warrington have more money. We aren’t the big club in the division this time around. I’m excited by the new management team and hopefully we’ll start winning games and get the feel good factor back.

We need a really good competitive team from the off this year, rather than trying to evolve the team through the season. I don’t know how many players we have used over the past couple of years, but the revolving doors with players in and out doesn’t make for consistency and high levels of performance.

I am sure the new management team are aware of this and are already working hard to get the right players in. Having some players who have played together before will definitely help.

Lets hope we are ready for the first game and getting a good start will galvanise both the team and supporters

one of the ex norton players i’d like to see with us is michael lennon,he’s a goal machine :goal

Looking at this video of a Norton FA Cup game, looks like Leigh Skellern knows where the back of the net is, maybe another option

As of next season Farsley, who will be visiting Wincham Park again are reverting to their former name - Farsley Celtic.

Vics that exist today are not the club that was at Wembley and I am not sure it is the same club that was in the Conference. Mind you they have had so many “numbers” after their name I have lost track!!

Just seen that Scarborough have been granted planning permission to build a new stadium, in Scarborough. They will be playing at Bridlington next season and they hope that their new ground will be ready at some point the following season.
