Managerial Change
Southport Football Club today announced that manager Peter Davenport and assistant Huw Griffiths have left the club with immediate effect. The club would like to place on record their appreciation for everything they both contributed to Southport Football Club.
Former player Gary Brabin will take charge until the end of the season.

Gary Brabin was also Albion’s assistant manager. Echo Tonee’s posting what a strange time to part with a manager. Southport are only one place below the play-offs and have two matches in hand. Emm obviously something bigger going on at Haig Avenue.
and the ex-nightclub doorman was at Burscough last season!
