Unfortunately I am incapacitated once again in Leighton and wasn’t able to access the internet for the majority of yesterday.

Re the game: Disappointed to see a 2-0 lead slip but I guess it’s a point and lifts us one place up the table. Games don’t get any easier do they!
Hope you are now OK Derek, as to the game game definitely 2 points thrown away after leading 2-0 and well on top.
We came out second half asleep and Khalsa ran us ragged we couldn’t tackle, couldn’t pass and let them back in with 2 quick goals. Yes we slowly battled back and got on top again and could have won it if the foul on Brazel when clean through and brought down from behind had been given and a red card with a free kick on the edge of the area! We may have gone onto win.
Nice to see Christy Edward’s start has real pace about him, could not judge Owen on the short time He had.
Not convinced with Hoyle at centre back, better upfront with Garbutt who looked back on form and Sotona at right back didn’t work for me.
Off to Trafford next week another lower side, can we finally beat one! UTA
Have just noticed on the Northern Premier League website, they have credited Freddy Garbutt with Witton’s second goal.
As for me, I’m here in Leighton at least for the next few days.
