A reasonable point away, for the first maybe hour we barely had an attack and it was dour with only Stafford’s trying to win the game and they went deservedly 1-0 up even though the penalty award looked very soft. Carl changed the team by pushing McKenna into central mid, Monaghan to the wing and Heath upfront to partner Jones and this seemed to work and we had more conviction and possession and got a deserved equaliser ! the ball falling well for Jones to turn the ball in, Wall played the whole game on the wing and clearly is not a striker so we still look short, and clearly missing Smart and Foley ! Tough game to come Saturday against the league leaders South Shields. UTA
