North West U21’s Development League Premier Division:

Stalybridge Celtic 3 Witton Albion U21’s Development Squad 2.

Albion went down to defeat against Stalybridge Celtic in their latest North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture at Stockport Sports Village on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic appeared to have secured the points comfortably, going in 3-0 ahead at half time although they were reduced to ten men before the break.

Witton almost grabbed a shared of the points in the second half as goals from Fernando Osagie & a Franck Kangue spot-kick gave them some hope.

Albion keeper Jake Eastwood saved a second half spot-kick to deny Celtic a fourth goal which would’ve been harsh on Albion following their second half efforts.
