Witton’s U21’s Development Squad are in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Stalybridge Celtic in a North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture. Witton go into the game in buoyant mood following their excellent result last weekend, inflicting only the second league defeat on league leaders Stockport Town. Stalybridge currently sit tenth in the Premier Division and their games are nearly always eventful with plenty of goals, their last fixture saw them come out on the wrong side of eleven goals in a 6-5 defeat. Witton go into the game in seventh place and will be looking to build on last weekend’s success. The game is being played at Stockport Sports Village with a 4.30pm kick off.
