This manager should have been long gone and we just may have had a chance of staying up. Nantwich and Matlock took that action and both have stayed up. We have been crap all season and there can be no complaints…
So sticking with him worked out well then. Should have gone months ago but oh no let’s stick with him and we’ll be ok yeah thanks for that. Should have admitted got the appointment wrong and given us a chance of staying up by pulling the trigger on his shambolic tenure as manager
And as we will finish 3rd bottom no reprieve, I think Marine will get a reprieve as Peacehaven lost. We are are worse as a team and just cannot defend, there is no justification for him to keep his job at all, 3 seasons ago he had cammel lairds in the bottom 4 in div 1 north and got a reprieve no such luck this time. Absolutely gutted !
this moment has been coming since the new year, a couple of good results gave us false hope, but in the end weve been poor most of the time, manager out of his depth , bringing in players who simply arnt good enough. Big clearout required,
The chairman has to shoulder some of the blame for this debacle for not showing the door to Sully weeks ago…
I would have got rid much earlier but to be fair to the Chairman he tried to be loyal to the manager, Sullivan blew it by not handling the Gards situation better and not bringing in better players. As a chairman I think there is a pressure to be loyal but there is no way he can stay now He has achieved absolutely nothing only driven fans away.
Sullivan Resigned only 6 weeks late.

The chairman has to shoulder the majority of the blame two very poor appointments IMO but hey look on the bright side we may have achieved the budget :red
We needed a manager with experience to pull us out of the mire. Not investing in a decent manager has cost us, and might do for years to come.

We’ve been crap for two years. Since we lost to fc in the play offs it’s been downhill all the way!
I wholeheartedly agree, the Gards situation was a complete shambles and resulted in our top player being suspended at a time when we simply couldn’t afford to lose that sort of quality. We lost a number of fans to the poor handling of this and we simply didn’t recover.
i remember doing the sponsored walk in july and we beat chester in a friendly on the same day.we were all thinking that a great season was up on us and play offs atleast was our goal.only a couple of players remain from that game and i really believe that this is just the start of years of misery.if we end up in evo south,it’s easier to get out of but no big away followings.a lad i work with put money on us to get promoted at start of season,whats happened is hard to understand.IMO the chairman takes full blame.finally i feel sorry for all the people that do so much work and fundraising for the club just to be let down by an inept board
