Stourbridge FC vs Witton Albion.

Witton travel to Stourbridge on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Glassboys have made a steady start to their campaign and currently sit in seventh place in the league table, winning each of their last three matches. They had a very successful season last time and finished third in the table before losing in the Play Offs, whilst also having an excellent run in the Emirates FA Cup. Recent weeks has seen some comings and goings in personnel with forwards, Jordan Archer & Devarn Green moving to Chester FC and Tranmere Rovers respectively. The return of last season’s leading goalscorer Luke Benbow, who has rejoined on a short-term loan from Solihull Moors and the addition of the much-travelled Kyle Perry from Barwell, together with Luke Shearer from near neighbours Halesowen Town give the side a potent strike force. The fixture represents the third ever league meeting between the two clubs with the previous results shared one win apiece and there is not a lot distance points-wise between them. Witton will be looking to progress up the table whilst Stourbridge will be hoping to improve on an inconsistent home record. Kick off at The War Memorial Athletic Ground is 3pm.

Directions: Leave the M6 south at either Junction 13 (taking either the A449 to and through Wolverhampton), or Junction 12 (and take the A5 west to join the A449). Follow the A449 through Wolverhampton (this will take you right past Molineux) – so if Wolverhampton Wanderers are at home on a Saturday, expect increased traffic. Keep following the A449 around Wolverhampton 's ring road (will now be signposted Kidderminster), and then branch left onto the A491 at the traffic island where the A491 meets the A449 (signposted Stourbridge). Keep following this road and you will see the ground on the right hand side of the road, just as you pass the Stourbridge Motor House Vauxhall Garage/Magnet Kitchen Showroom - (the floodlights can be seen as you drive up the hill). Please note: Stourbridge have provided these directions as an alternative due to roadworks on the M5 between junctions 1 & 2.

Additional Information: There will be a bucket collection at the Stadium in aid of the Royal British Legion.

Tough game this, but i think our players will be up for it and get a result to get the season back on track. As usual i expect the players to put in their usual 100% effort after last Saturdays result, which was a game we could have won had we taken a couple of the chances we created in the first half hour when we were so dominant. Good luck to the team. UTA

I agree, it is a game our lads can win.
WHS.

Could be close 7 v 11 in the table although Stourbridge have 3 games in hand and a 3 point advantage. I’m not sure what team to go with as not heard anything about injuries and Brown supended but I’d go with if available:

Hare
Gards. Ryan. Wilson. Mckenna
Haywood. Owens. Hedley. Foley
Hopley, Tames

Not ideally balanced and unless the new loan signing is a left winger not that many options challenging for a 1st team spot, Williams and Jones maybe in a 4-3-3? Anyway good luck and UTA
