I bought a lovely new Witton pin badge (available for only £4.50 from all good Witton stockists).
I wore it for the Warrington and Fylde games and we lost.
I forgot to wear it last night and look what happened.
I can’t wear it on Saturday now!
(The same goes for those so-called lucky red socks).
I have found that my just turning up to watch puts the “Mokkers” on!! I have decided to hire a wixard to take the curse off both me and the Albs, anyone know where Merlin lives?
WHS.
My advice Dodger would be to give that badge away, and buy yourself a new one. See if you have anymore luck with that.
If not, then try a new scarf. See if that does the job.
Failing that, try a keyring.
We’ll get there in the end.
Don’t just fob me off.
Dodger, I will buy the badge off you, that should do the trick! Then you can buy another one, this time with some luck attached.
WHS.
I think Dodger should just throw the badge away, and then you can both buy a NEW one.
It wouldn’t be right throwing away good quality Witton merchandise so I might just buy another and have one for matches and one for my suit.
Robbo, have you applied for The Apprentice?
Donate the badge to the museum, and buy 2 new ones. One for matches and one for your suit.
He is the Club Shop’s apprentice !
Now you’re badgering me.
Don’t try and pin anything on me !
“It is not easy being green” says todays’s The Guardian.Robert Murray wore green yesterday and lost the match,Yeovil and Plymouth Argyle both green have not won any ogf the game’s major Honours.Robert Green well that goal against USA !!
Something to be said for green .
Oh and Kim Clijsters who wore green yesterday doesn’t count .May be green is not unlucky in Belgium.
