The Future

It has to be said that the future is not looking to bright at the moment, we didn’t just lose a game yesterday, we lost a lot of money. It is vital that the “fanatics” don’t lose faith and continue to support their club even more than they have in the past. The club will lose money through the gate after this defeat, gates may even drop to less than 200. The question has to be asked, when are we going to start winning? Mr. Deeley needs more time amd so do the players but it has to be made clear to them that the club and supporters cannot afford to wait too long for a turnaround to start to happen. I am still positive Mr. Deeley can effect this turnaround, I just hope he is too. Napoleon said he did not want good generals, just lucky ones, I sincerely hope that Mr. Deeley’s luck changes soon.

It worries me that people are so despondant that they are not even writing on the web site which basically costs nothing. We MUST pull together. It was easy to support the team last year and the year before, now it is going to be hard: but you know what they say, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” so come on “FANATICS” GET GOING!!!
WHS.

It is called being demoralised WHS.
O Win,win where art thou?
Why for doth thou elude us ??
I am keeping the faith but with the club only as I am not sure about the team, with exception of Pritch.
My faith with the team is fractured and barely held together with bits of loyalty sticky tapes.
basically I am p****d off and can you blame me eh ???

Why don’t u see a doctor ?

Enough of this doom and gloom, let’s be positive.

We have the potential of some cracking away days next season at Warrington, Lancaster, Colwyn Bay, Garforth…

Or - depending on which league we were put into - even the likes of Quorn, Belper, and SHEPSHED!!

Very droll Eli !!!

And Loughborough Dynamos Robbo.
Thats three games I could definitely see.

That’s more like it!!! When faced with adversary you can cry or you can laugh and I believe keeping a smile on your face eventually sends all troubles away. (He lied). Seriously, let’s remember that it is still early days, things can change in football very quickly, sometimes with just one good result, they can go the other way when things are going well as we have discovered during the last two seasons!! Harold Wilson said “A week is a long time in politics” and that applies to football too. Look at Scum, one win followed quickly by another, that could be us this coming week, who knows?
WHS.

All might not be as bad as it seems, the sportsmans evening may have seemed a flop but I had an important guest there who I hoped will be a good sponsor and getting the treatment he did I believe that will be the case and so it was imperative for us to push ahead with it, I have another meeting this week that could prove to be very benificial. Please attend on Thursday it is vital that we show some very important people we want a long term future for Witton Albion, the groundwork is being done but if appathy takes over after a below average start to the season we may lose these people, Trust me if the next couple of weeks go well we will have done more than our first objective which was to make sure Witton Albion completed this season. Get there on Tuesday and make a noise, I may have mentioned this before but its important!!!

Sadly I am extremely busy over the next two weeks and will only be at the ground in spirit, I am sending donations to the fund as a way of apoligising for my absence. I make very little noise when I am there so I won’t be missed too much!!
WHS.

That is ok WHS.You make enough noise here [Says I with tongue firmly in cheek]:cheer:
