The New Manager is..............

I agree we need a proven experienced option but I can’t really see we’ll get one given the budget we’ll operate under. Talk of Pritch as manager may not be practicle as the lad has a demanding full time job but I’d love it if he can get involved in some part in the the football management of the club. I agree with the person who said why wait till Thursday night. Thursday night could then have been used as not just a meet the new manager but the most pressing topic for us a possible ground move.
The opportunity is there at the moment to buy the Marston thingy whatever it is. If you could get that with £500,000 in the bank off the Developers, charge Vics £850 a game you’d get an income each week of around £1200 made up of the ground share and interest off the £500K!! Ok Ground Maintence might swallow up some of the £1200 but certainly not all of it!!
I stress here the figures would have to add up, That it might not be as simple as I’m making out (Is the ghost of Connett still lurking somewhere), and of course its just my view and not a Shareholder majority view. I think its an option like others we may have and worthy of being considered and no way being critical of the running of the club.
Obviously my thoughts are considerable extra revenue each week so we can hire a recognised experienced manager who make us successful and start the snowball effect that people like Fleetwood Southport and Halifax have acheieved.Thems my thoughts anyway. I do hope we get someone completely fresh to the club and not someone with previous history though. But whoever I’ll try not to be negative and will certainly give them a chance!! Omward and Upward for our great club!!

Your going to be happy MONA !

Eli,

Is he gonna be happy because we are buying the Marston arena or that we have got an experienced manager, I hate close season never know whats going on ? :frowning:

CJ Armchair Fan is spot on with his first point !

If this is true Eli, any chance we can take our ‘behind the goals’ over there?!

Armchair Fans first point was - an experienced manager together with a popular ex Witton player !

Avram Grant and Dean Crowe?

Derek Goulding and Pritch!

Warmer !

Terry Murphy & Pritch + brodie as coach ?

Cooler !

Alvin McDonald, Pritch and Mike Moseley!

Colder !

The new manager is ex Leek Town manager Paul Ogden and former Witton and Leek player Dave Macpherson as player/coach
