Delighted as i had £20 on Vics to win so picked up a nice £110 :cheer:
Hope Northampton stuff them.
Hypothetical situation.
Do you have two majority shareholders?
Could JR and his mystery backers with their unlimited financial resources make them an offer to buy their shares and become a majority shareholder and have a controlling interest in Wincham Park?
This question has been posed on the 1874 website.
P.S. I hope the Cobblers stuff them as well!

Johno.
Fair enough!
You didn’t actually answer the question though.
There are no 2 majority shareholders, there are several larger shareholders and hundreds of fan based shareholders, no one could buy a controlling interest - its in our constitution written in a few years ago to protect the club from this very event, Thanks for your concern too, JR does not have the ability to buy WAFC, He could not buy the VS which was only £1 million, our ground is in the middle of a planned housing development and would be worth £4-6 million probably-but I think it will remain our football club. Thanks for that comprehensive reply.
It has certainly put my mind at rest.
4 to 6 million quid? For land on top of old salt mines? Let’s get it sold, buy the Colne Dynamos team and head back to Wembley…As soon as poss!
Nice to see them featured on the BBC just now as the lowest ranked team still in the FA cup…“putting Northwich back on the map” and “nice to see them with their own stadium” NO mention of the ground share with us and no mention of how very lucky they are to still be in it after fielding an ineligible player…
Winning 2-0 now too. Awful news for our community engagement. Kids round here will be flocking to see them. God help us if they draw a premier league team at home.
Hopefully Everton
Thrown it away
What a shame
They have just shown the three Northampton goals all the way over here in the desert - I was flicking the V’s at the telly and swearing quite badly. ‘‘Poor old Northwich Vics’’. What an effing disgrace they are and they get sympathy. The sooner they just effing die the better. I was beginning to imagine a 3rd round pay day that saved that sh*te of a club. Thank god that won’t be happening.
Haha that’s made my day. Unlucky Mr Rushe.
My Mrs just said it’s a shame! No love it’s not, it’s really really not.
They have money, God knows where from and a replay would have been good for us in the money taken at the bar etc but all in all I am very glad they lost. We MUST kick them out next year.
WHS.
Money taken in the bar WHS for who’s benefit ? Witton or Oasis ?
Andy would you mind explaining who oasis are?
Johno, don’t look back in anger at least not today. Prefer high flying birds. :cheer:
Think I will have to ask a friend on that one but would suggest you aren’t happy at the way the social club is being run.
