Time to move on and forget!!

A lass the end of an era has now passed a new dawn is breaking albeit a dull dawn but now is the time for you fans to get behind your new management team and players rather than sitting on here slatting ex managers or players…

As i part this horrible forum in great knowledge of how important Mr Vince was to your club and fans let me leave you all with some pearls of wisdom…

Do not dwell on what mistakes may take away from you but what new found possibilities they may bring in their place…

As u wave us goodbye take care on the M62 Billy !

hey hey hey
witton albion!!!

all the best from liam brownhill

Liam,
I for one will not be “slating” you on here, I have personally enjoyed watching you play at wincham park over the past 2 years and would have liked to have seen you play for a third, you obviously have your reasons for going (as im sure ppl on here “slating” you as you put it have their reasons too) … but I wish you the best of luck with your future career.

Good luck Liam with your move, you have been an excellent member of the squad over the last couple of seasons and I think you have improved to become a very good player.

The backlash you are suffering is not all directly aimed at you but at the process regarding your departure. Fans will naturally be alarmed by the fact that three of our players in JK, Cav and now you have gone to Droylesden (before a few weeks ago I doubt that they even knew where Witton was)! The reality is that the club should have had you under contract for the future and there are persons responsible for not making sure this was the case. Given that Witton helped in you growing as a player they would have then benefitted from a transfer fee rather than having received nothing. Witton are the only losers here.

As far as I am concerned Liam I have always found you to be a good lad and I wish you the best with your career, as I say the disappointment is more with the process and the external appearance that players have now jumped ship at the first opportunity of earning more money.

I believe that you are capable of playing at a much higher level than the one you have gone on to and I hope that your game progresses at the same rate as it has over the last two years. The one thing for sure is you will have plenty of defending to do next year!

I hope it goes well for you (any plans for a new pair of earrings with the extra cash)! Either that or a new waistcoat!!!

If nothing else, then at least Liam gave me Greg and Drew a reason to go mental in Exeter!!!
