Decent result for us with CoL dropping a couple of points with a no score draw at Hanley. Leaves them two points behind Witton with a game in hand. Out of the chasing pack at the moment they are the only team that can overtake us, but we meet in the final league game of the season so a play-off spot is currently in our own hands.

In the other fixture tonight Avro won 3 - 1 at Vauxhall.

The negative for us, which may come back to bite us, is the goal difference.

Those heavy defeats at Leek, Stalybridge, Prescot and Linnets early in the season could prove costly.

Another problem for us that other teams around us have played fewer games.

One of the teams in the mix Bootle, have Runcorn Linnets and Clitheroe in their next two games.
