Trafford FC vs Witton Albion.

she had the delights while you were at footy

Probably for the best then as i intend to have a few drinks tonight to celebrate a rare away win!

Well done guys.Corner turned.?

Excellent result, one which I didn’t expect, congrats to the management and team. Hopefully a bit of confidence going forward. UTA

Too early to say just yet but i can definitely see what Carls trying to do as were playing much more passing football rather than the hoof and chase we have been used to for the last 12 months
Im feeling positive after the last couple of games and we made a team in 6th place look like a very poor side, look at it this way Trafford were 6th and now we’re 9 points behind them with 3 games in hand!
We just need the stay away fans to come back and see what Carls doing, whilst the crowds are so low we cannot improve the squad till we get more through the turnstiles, next week we have 3 coachloads of Scarborough fans coming so we should be able to break the 300 mark which is a start

Great result!

Any news on the 4 lads on 1 month loan deals? Is next week their last week?

I’m guessing we’re waiting for the Welsh FA for Hopley’s clearance, they can take their time regarding these matters.

Great result today, wasn’t expecting that.

Who are the 4 lads on one month loan deals?

Firth, Brewster, Hughes and reeves

A win is a win is a win-bloody awful 8 quid that could be saved on a Sunday morning cos that was rubbish.
Take Danny Andrew out of the game and it’s like a load of cloggers bashing the ball back and too.
3 points towards survival but poor fayre

I will take the win and certainly ENJOYED all the effort put in by the lads yes not the greatest second half as Trafford improved and pushed but importantly we held out and won which I didnt expect ! so credit where its due if we can just get some results together it will help stabilise things as we try to improve the squad, heard that Firth has extended his loan for another month which is good news and hopefully Hopley will sign soon. UTA

We seem to do well at Trafford but today is excellent for us, particularly in view of Trafford’s league position. Let’s hope that it is the start of a decent run which must surely bring confidence with it. I’ve also heard words to that effect about Andy Firth although nothing officially.

Not sure i was watching the same game as Andy as myself and those around me enjoyed a good game of football!
I thought the £8 admission was good value for money and we played some lovely football at times especially in the first half.
We dug deep in the final 20 minutes which is maybe where your getting the clogging the ball around bit from but everyone left with smiles on faces but if you weren’t happy im sure we can have a whip round and give you your £8 back on Saturday

Whether you agree with the managers appointment or not you lot need to get behind him and see what happens. Relegation will not be an issue.

Well said Eli its our club whatever ! We can choose to be fickle fans or the alternative is unconditional support, Over half the gate there yesterday from The Albion faithful,so in answer to them on 2012 forum NO Witton are not in freefall we are on the up thanks for your concern, better dig deep to pay your wasted bill for the overnight stop, “no humour on here” Well I laughed my socks off . UTA

We shouldn’t even be looking at the bottom of the table. With our resources we should be in a comfortable play off position.

Hopefully this is a the start of turning things around but let’s not have short memories. We are still relying on youth loans and appear unable to attract any quality whatsoever to the club.

I’ll roll up my ‘Sack the Board’ banner for now…!!

Not sure why Andy C thought it was poor fayre, perhaps my expectations were lower.

I thought we played some good football, particularly in the first half when we could have been further in front and that seemed to be the view from those around me.

The team is starting to shape up and will continue to move forwards. We are not done yet !!

Its only natural for fans of any club in the land to have different expectations than others.

It’s probably coz spurs are having a decent season (for now)

well the 3 points gives us something to build on and take into the match with Scarborough next Sat. Fingers crossed we are on the right track

Footballs all about opinions and we’ll agree to disagree but one thing I am is delighted with is 3 points to the Albion to relieve the ridiculous notion of a relegation battle.
