A game of 2 halves.

Witton dominated the first half and could have gone in 4-0 up.

Different story 2nd half, as 2 half time substitutions for Trafford gave them much more of the game. The got one back whilst we were down to 10 men with a player off the pitch receiving treatment. However, we battled well, and held onto our lead, whilst under heavy pressure at the end.

Good result considering their league position.

Effort, commitment, good football, passion and goals - not sure what I expected but that was what we got. TT has summed up the game well, but overall we deserved this result and the players are to be congratulated for their effort and performance.

Yes we were under the cosh 2nd half, but still had chances to go 3-0 or 3-1, but in the end the commitment and sheer effort saw us home.

Well done all !

Delighted with todays performance, first half we could of been out of sight, the Trafford Manager could be heard going absolutely mental at half time for those going to the nearby toilets!
We looked the more likely team to score in the opening moments of the 2nd half and Menagh was tormenting the home defence at will!
Their goal looked sloppy from where i was stood and we were all expecting the usual collapse from then on but with a bit of luck and some last ditch defending we kept Trafford out.
The final whistle was met with a mixture of delight and relief and it was pleasing to see the Players and Management acknowledge the Witton support.
Nice to be able to enjoy a Saturday evening for a change and even Mrs Cat might get the benefits if you know what i mean
