Can i just ask that everyone gets down to WP on tuesday night to get behind the team. I know that united are on tv but we have worked hard all season and now there is two games left. Win them and we are up. so lets have one final push and get out of this league.

If there was a time to get behind the team, it is now more than ever.
You can see highlights, or record the utd match, but you can’t with a witton match and anyone who doesn’t come will be missing out!
As I am playing in a Bowls Cup match that night I won’t be there in person but I will be there in spirit. Despite all my moaning I DO desperately want Witton to win these final two games but I have always been a bit of a pessimist, did I say a “bit of a pessimist”? I am a major pessimist, always have been. The glass for me has always been half empty and I have always felt if you have no expectations of success you are never disappointed. Trouble is, where Witton are concerned, I always live in hope and when they fail I am devastated. Good luck to the lads on Tuesday and hopefully Saturday.

As much as every other reason, I want to get this promotion to shove it up the noses of some of the fans in this league that have taken a ridiculous dislike to us. It’s siege mentality time people!!!

They definately don’t like us in this league, god knows what they’d be like if the only fans we took to their place was a handful of ASBOs.
The Buxton supporters are already making plans for a trip to the final, lets make sure it’s not to watch their club.
People generally dislike any club above them in the league. Ask any true football fan and they will have respected the way we have played this season. Also ask the officials of any club we have visited as to our behaviour on away trips and hospitality at home. Ask other managers if they respect the jon Jim Vince has done. You will only hear positives from the mass majorty of these sources.
There is very little to dislike about Witton, unless you wear green and white, in which case you are too busy focusing on relegation and going bump each season to worry about us :ohmy:
It seems to be that unless you put Witton first ahead of all other things in life you cannot be viewed as a supporter by some people on here. I personally prefer to take part in sport rather than watch, always have, always will, and the only sport my old legs allow me to play now is Bowls which I take very seriously, especially the committment to the other players in my team. If people on here don’t like that position, TOUGH, it is the way I feel.Doesn’t stop me from desperately wanting the Witton club to be successful.

After witnessing them incredible scenes at the Hawthorns last night, and no I was not on the pitch at the end, tend to fall arse over tit when doing pitch invasions,
I firmly believe football can win through at the end of the day, its all about belief have that this evening, then we can win through. Going to be very difficult, can see Buxton bringing a great following, keep the faith.
