UniBond Div One SOUTH it is

Afraid to report back that our relegation and subsequent placing in UniBond South Section was confirmed at today’s AGM.

The irony though was that Newcastle Blue Star didn’t even bother to turn up! No apologies whatsoever nor has any resignation letter been offered by them to the UniBond League.

Consequently it was reported by the League’s outgoing Chairman Peter Maude that unfortunately the full complement of 66 clubs now looks unlikely.

The only consolation that us Wittoners can take from this sorry affair is that it would not have been us who would have taken their place as I’m led to understand that Harlow Town were the next club in line within the national Pyramid structure. Have they now got a genuine gripe or what?

Nice to finally know where we stand!

Bit of a joke the whole newcastle blue star situation, think better rules need putting in place (doubt this will happen tho!)

Im looking forward to a new season in a new league.

P.S train journeys be ***ered, this once great country of our’s trains are dirty pricey and late!!

P.P.S Northwich **cs, Northwich **cs 2004, Beaconw*t and now Northwich **cs Holding Ltd…oh what a tabngled green web they weave!!

Every cloud has a silver lining:-

Thank Fck we don’t have to go to Frickley again!!!

The fact that a club like that is allowed to flout rule after rule and play their games in a place that hasn’t altered in 50 years tells you everything you need to know about the Unibond League and its organisation/officers.

Looks like we could have been bumped up if Newcastle Blue Star had informed the FA/Unibond earlier:

“The decision will leave the Premier Division one club short and prevents a club being moved to bring the top tier up to its full complement of 22 clubs, a situation the UniBond League believes could easily have been avoided had the club not failed to communicate either with league officers or the Football Association.”
