[i]The UniBond League Club of the Month for September has been awarded to Hucknall Town in the Premier Division, FC Halifax Town in the First North and Witton Albion in the First South.
Hucknall Town had an equal record to Guiseley for the month but as Hucknall’s record included four away games the decision went in their favour. Hucknall Town will receive their award of 6 bottles of Pol Roger Champagne and a suitably engraved certificate prior to their UniBond fixture versus North Ferriby United on Tuesday 13th October.

FC Halifax Town have won the awarded for the second month in a row with a 100% record. They will receive 6 bottles of Pol Roger Champagne and certificate prior to their home Presidents Cup tie versus Ossett Albion on Tuesday 13th October. [FA Cup replay permitting.]

Witton Albion lost just once in seven throughout the month which was seen as giving them the edge over Market Drayton Town who had one defeat and one draw albeit over 8 games. Witton Albion will receive their champagne and certificate prior to their home league fixture on Saturday 10th October versus Quorn.[/i]

Much better performances during September when we won some difficult games. I think there is more to come from the current group of players and 25% through the season we are starting to see the signs of this.

The " stay away " fans are obviously not convinced yet ! Maybe a run in the Trophy will do the trick ?
