Congratulations on the win. I’m slightly bitter at the Ref, :red I thought he was poor. I was proud of the way our lads performed especially when down to 9 men. Good luck in the up coming rounds.
Thanks to all the FCUM fans for the atmosphere ( and the money…). It was just a shame that a lot of them on the far side slagged off Witton’s support. Yes we will always be quieter than Fc, especially at home but that doesn’t mean we don’t care. Anyway, I think both teams have seen enough of each other for a while now - we know how little grudges can build up, which is maybe a reason for the cautions and bookings. I thought the first sending off was fair enough. There was little contact but that squaring up and attempting a head butt is very intimidatory. The second one was more contentious. Although Wittoners around me were baying for blood, I didn’t see any vicious intent and Sheehan wasn’t really hurt badly.
All credit to FC for making us look like we had 9 men and the ex-Wittoner in goal was outstanding. I thought much of Witton’s play in the 2nd half was inept and dumb - kicking long balls straight to the opposition. Even calm middle aged fans were screaming ‘rubbish’ at their team!! So we thank Coops for a great late save, and Andrews for a great strike, and move on

Well a win in the cup is a win, but in truth It was a bit embarrassing to watch 9 men fcum cut through us t will - and our play and approach to 9 men was truly awful, we gave the ball away at will, we played hopeless long balls and the most annoying was lack of effort from most of our 11 fcum deserved something out of the game for there sheer guts and pacy play, we lack so much in terms of pace, I think we need dave walker back for sure to link up our play and lets hope we dont play less than 11 players again.

Seem to recall a couple of previous times when, as last evening we didn’t change our own tactics much to take full advantage.
Merthyr Tydfil in the Conference at home and Bridlington away are the two I’m referring to when we could only draw.
The one difference last night though was we bloody well WON :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap

It wasn’t a great performance to say the least 
but we are through and those plastic Little Manchester United fans are out, in fairness had it not been for Worsnop we would have been 4-0 and the game killed off.
Think the shout of the game came from one of our stewards when the FC fans were singing ‘how much was the referee?’ To which he said ‘don’t know you have paid for him’ classic!
