Can’t wait for Saturday, ive seen all the friendly games and feel we have the best squad for many years, I’ve put my money where my mouth is and backed us with a £10 e/w to win the league (e/w pays 1st, 2nd or 3rd)
Im slightly confused by our visitors though as I’ve been on their forum and all doesnt seem to happy!
From what I can gather the team is made up of youngsters all under 21 and there training full time?! It appears that their trialing a new idea of bringing through youngsters and released a lot of older players which a lot of supporters aren’t happy about.
A lot of fans are turning their backs on the new team especially if they get off to a poor start.
Im confident were going to get off to a winning start on Saturday, we have had such a great pre season which is such a relief after the farce of last year with off field activities affecting the club in many ways! Heres to a great season, get behind the lads on Saturday

Yes saw that it seems to be a full time academy but they also have several experienced players who are expected to ttrain with them at least 2 days a week ! Not sure how working players can do that ? I suspect they will be very fit a bit like the Stoke 11 without the skill. Should be a Good test and I will go for a 2-1 win for the Albs.
Biggest decision for me would be the keeper and left back where there is IMO a very good case for Swift and Moyo, also assuming Powell and Titch are injured still. Looks a very good team to me with a strong bench also let’s hope we start with a good display and 3 points
